This version is not working for me, it will only show the status of already-running VMs, and will not start the selected VM when I launch it, nor do any of the menu options work - most importantly "Turn On". Am I doing something wrong?

Just as a note, a bunch of people have left feedback in the 'VBoxHeadlessTray -- free utility to run VMs in Windows tray' thread in the 'VirtualBox on Windows Hosts' subforum of the VirtualBox forum. Some of the later feedback in the thread seems still relevant -- I'm just pointing this out to you because you haven't posted in that thread for a while and your issue tracker on github and your 'Known Issues' subsection is empty!

I had a lot of problems with Vbox 3.2.2 with VBoxHeadless 3.2. Had to roll back to earlier 3.18 version of Virtual Box on windows to get it to work with VboxHeadless.

The two softwares at current release levels are icompatable. Vboxheadless doesn't power up vms on Windows 7 x64
